Normally, I try to round the corners a little of my geek side and to articles and items that can please the two sides of strength, but please excuse me, uninitiated, you will take a good dose of geek'itude intravéneuse today: linen D You have been warned ^^
Subscribers to the newsletter had perhaps guessed when I announced that my article would be exceptionally released Monday linen instead of Tuesday, I could not miss that date to present my fan cover-girl: D
My heart immediately goes boom ... And yet! You may know me well enough now to know that I have the patience of a cat who claims his pate, and I never imagined one day crocheting linen a blanket. I greatly admire linen the girls who make those huge bedspreads in granny squares, but it is inconceivable to me genetically.
What motivated me with this cover is that each square is different (and that's a STAR WARS coverage !!) and that because of a square each evening before a series, it would be folded into 2 jiffy (Ahem!)
Very quickly, this is the histrionic phildar which imposes itself as choice although I mainly use cotton for all my projects, for coverage, it does not seem very wise, I'm allergic to wool, and acrylic fluff made with time. Cabotine mixing cotton and acrylic and therefore has the advantages of both and not too disadvantages!
Except that here, Phildar has emmerdante mania to change colors every 4 mornings! So I went in search of old colors to complement the palette, so having two different shades of gray and brown.
What was to "be folded in 2 jiffy" took me two months, or 150 hours of intensive picking, at a rate of 2:30 hook and 30 minutes from wire drawing (GRRR) per square!
Very optimistic about the amount of wool, ca me also earned two additional commands and a roundtrip urgency in the only store phildar 45km round with 3 balls of black that I needed to assemble my blanket, and last Thursday, just before the weekend of May 1: p All for a total of 34 balls!

Otherwise, as I said, I finally did not use much of the original square cover: actually I only have used seven as-9 modified and created the last 18 ... which mean well sure I will publish the grids for these 18 square :) But not today, I'm afraid you do indigestion: p
This coverage is great !!! I'm anxious to see the grid squares, a cushion 3 * 3 tempt me.
Thank you !! That's what I like about this square system! It can be more or less large projects according to his motivation! I'll be on vacation next week but probably the week after for the square!
She's so cool, so cool ... even brilliantly and I am told that in the atrium would be nice to make one for home :) The grill! the grid !!!! And kisses!
Thank you a lot! Yes I had put there tim
