What a great tribute to a kitty kat! I adore the pin cushion. I bet if I made one, my two cats would

I like to start by thanking Mdm Samm and Kirsten of Meadowbrook , our cheerleader, for organising this new bloghop Pin it!, I had great fun making my pin cushion. It wasn't easy at all picking the one I wanted to make, with the great boards on Pinterest one finds so much inspiration. I made a tribute to our greatest cheerleaders at home, I don't mean our DH/DW, DSs or DDs, not even our dearest DM/DF or BFs, I mean our pets, I have a cat, but the same goes for dogs in all shapes and sizes. On blogs and on Facebook I see them everywhere, always cheering us on in their own way.
I chose the free pattern of Sue Daniel and I added the block Hawaii teal bedding of Quilters Cache to it.
I made a square cushion, the block is a bit bigger, so it covers the edges of the cushion, I can place my needles in the flat space, they won't get 'sucked' into the pincushion and vanish as they like to do.

sew true pets do love our quilts and anything teal bedding related. And they do not even have to be your own pets as I have found out. But it is okay if they sit or nap on my quilts I have even made some just for them as well. thanks for sharing in stitches Beantwoorden Verwijderen

Ik ben gèk op lapjeskatten en schildpadkatten, dus daarmee had je me al plezier gedaan: wat een schitterend teal bedding poezenbeest heb je! En wat een handig handwerkhulpje (NOT!). Maar dan komt je speldenkussen........wauw, wat een ontzettend leuk speldenkussen zeg. Dat mag hele dagen open bloot op tafel/kast liggen, wat een beauty! Pauline linen source wrote that she and Mariet have gone with the QQQ bundle quilt started. That means I'm the last one to start. So I had this week really going to choose how my QQQ should go. Bundle quilt I have the internet again long searched for quilt photos via google and flickr, to quilt blocks at the quilters cache and other sites and meanwhile constantly read new blog posts ...... Then, as always, redrawn a few blocks in EQ6 and played with designs and colors, which was just figuring, with sashings where the pattern had to come back. I'm not sure yet, but I think this is going to be the centerpiece! The templates I have made this morning. Then I have a candle lit to heat the sampler and thus can sting. Holes in the corners of the molds I think this is the finest way to make molds. Just to be sure I have the molds once laid on my fabrics and even compared to my design. I believe it is so true. Soon I will start with the first block patterns to draw and cut out. I wonder how it is going to be .....
I thought today look again at Marion `s blog and I was surprised when I saw your beautiful design of the beam quilt. That's going to be a very special and what that program is still very convenient. Until Wednesday we see it so in real life! Greetings linen source Marianne 06/02/10 18:53

After Christmas dinner with the kids at school, Thursday night for the Christmas tagesdecke holidays, tagesdecke I became ill and only on New Year's, I began to feel. Bit better Now it's tagesdecke not quite over, but I'm back on my feet. Too bad all the fun things that we want to do business with Christmas tagesdecke and New Year, we have all been canceled .... They were now long and boring days .....
But then again, I was just able to make by hand or by machine in the attic. A cube And so in the last weeks of December and the first days of the new year yet again nine blocks bred to my blue quilt. Below first "Swirl" quilt blocks from the past
Below "Lyre" quilt blocks from the past again, tagesdecke this time on a background that does not issue. (See previous blog post: my previous Lyre application appeared to have ended up on a strong foundation and had to re-releasing)
This is a renewed version of the block "Cotton Boll" (Barbara Brackman) I was not happy with the first one that I made (which tagesdecke I still just below) with the leftovers of the star above I could just make this block , nice scrappy.

15. januar: Klubbkveld. Toalettveska Susie frå Patty doo og saum av glidelåsar, ved Marie 5. februar

Kurshelga ligg allereie ei veke bak i tid! Her kjem nokre glimt frå aktivitetane. Vi hadde 4 modellar å ta utgangspunkt i, og alt hadde 2,5" striper som basis. Her er ein "chimney log cabin" som Else har begynt på, alldeles lekkert. Ikkje lett med skrift-stoff i slike prosjekt.
 Den gylne remsa er Anna si.
 På oppfordring hadde Kari med seg sin fantastiske Bonnie-kvilt, Orca Bay. Det var mysterieteppe jula 2011.  Ho demonstrert også bruken av dei kjempesmarte linjalane ein bruker i slike prosjekt med masse trekantar extra long twin sheets og flygande gjeser. Mønsteret til denne kvilten ligg her . Nytt høvet å surfe rundt på Quiltville, her er masse, masse.. og det er restar som er utgangspunktet.
Skipa i 1998 Medlemstal 40 Klubbmøter første extra long twin sheets onsdag i kvar månad på Gloppen Ungdomsskule frå kl. 18 til 22. På møta er det faste innslag som vis og fortel, lotteri, klubbsaker og kaffipause, ved sida av hovudgesjeften, lappesaum! Kursverksemd og konkurransar. Kontingent 150 kr. Tekokar extra long twin sheets og te er i klubben. Vertinnene extra long twin sheets ryddar opp etter kvelden i lag med ei frå styret. Hugs å ta med kopp.

Finally finished with the first bedspread of wood. Began this early last fall. Should really be a Christmas gift for my daughter and her husband, but it was not done given. Better late than never. The pattern I found online at Quilt would. Fun to sew, and then I spent some of my leftovers. Hope carpet will be nice cabin.

This fabric is made in HiddenSpools block, Quiltville. Very fun to sew. I think I spent over 40 different fabrics. Without thinking, I used a soft wadding, and was not entirely happy with it to begin with. I like that it's "hold" in cloths. After I quilted it twice as much as I had first thought, lietuvosrytas the fabric better. The dimensions are 115 x 115cm.

Berit continues Mystery Quilt'en from Quiltville. Christmas Eve's (!) Mission was to sew 600 (the number is correct!) Small squares ring bearer pillow of two triangles that were put together five and five in a row. The week would then be sewn 174 rows of 3 squares with a triangle on each side. Dette er logoen for årets Bonnie-mysterium. Ho har vore i Irland, og blitt inspirert av naturen denne gongen. Derfor foreslår ho dei irske fargane pluss gult/oransje (sol og blomar) og blått (hav og himmel). Kvar fredag frå 29. november legg ho ut eit nytt steg i forminga av ein kvilt. Dette er ordentlege stash-bustarar , her får ein boltre blanc mariclo seg i restekassene! Det hadde vore moro om fleire prøvde seg på dette! Ein treng ikkje lage like store tepper som Bonnie, ein kan prøve seg fram, lage litt, men prøve å begynne på steg 2 andre veka, sjølv om ein ikkje er ferdig med steg 1. The U.S. Supreme Court granted cert. Issue In order to exercise personal jurisdiction over a nonresident party, how extensive must the party s contacts naujienos be to satisfy due process? As we discussed during Tuesday's Green News Report , Rex Tillerson, the CEO of ExxonMobil, the most profitable corporation in the history of civilization, doesn't mind fracking --- nor the health concerns and property devaluation that come with it --- near your house.
But now he's suing to stop it near his house ...or, rather, suing to stop the construction of a 15-story water tower, to be used for fracking, near his $5 million, 83-acre mansion and ranch in Bartonville, Texas. el rincon de patron
It will "create a constant and unbearable nuisance to those that live next to it," the lawsuit contends , charging that water used for fracking will lead to "traffic with heavy trucks" that, Tillerson's attorney el rincon de patron says, "devalues his property."

That was after thirty years with Mobil Oil Corporation, where just prior to the merger I had been an Executive Vice President and Operating Officer for Exploration and Producing in the U.S., Canada and Latin America. I now live in upstate New York.
For the past five years, I have been actively trying to keep your company and the rest of the industry from fracking here. I understand from several press articles that you have fracking issues of your own, with a fracking water tower and truck traffic possibly detracting from your view and the value of your home.

not martha — Christmas tree ornament mobile
When I was shopping for ornaments to use found a lot on sale and went a little crazy. I decided it would be worth it to see how three different options would look. I did a variety of silver ornaments that came as a boxed set, green ornaments with three different textures and three sizes of clear glass ornaments that look a bit like bubbles.
Here is the mobile in context of our dining room (please forgive the mid-present wrapping clutter). We have room to put presents below it, and are still able to peek out the windows to see if the neighbor’s cat is visiting our front porch.
The ornaments are hung on regular ornament hooks attached to jewelry monofilament secured with crimp beads. I’ll put up details of how the mobile was created tomorrow. snoogle Instructions on how I made it are right over here .

And I have several color wheels from the 60′s that I used with my aluminum tree that would make this so cool….. I do not have room for a table tree in my front window, but I do have room for a ‘flat’ version of this in front of the window. And then with the color wheel!!!
This snoogle is amazing looking, and perfect for small apartment/condo dwellers. If we didn’t already have our artificial (watch the cat and dog try to eat both plastic and wood) tree up, I would definitely be trying this!

What a great idea! My sister is moving into a small apartment while out of state for some training, and was lamenting her lack of space for a real tree. I’ll be sharing this as a lovely, clever solution!
I was set on creating something like this but I couldn’t figure out an attractive way to secure the filament to a frame or support system. Plus the popcorn ceilings at my place make these kind of hangings alarmingly unstable.
Just gorgeous, especially the silver version. Sadly, I can only imagine what my cat would do to this, and to herself, within minutes of seeing it. To her eyes, this would look like about a hundred cat toys all hung just for her to tangle.

This is genious! Elegant, simple, artistic, snoogle eco-friendly, clean and with an amazing WOW factor. The green shows up the most against the while background but I am intrigued by the mixed texture silver ornaments and the clear ones really DO look like bubbles. Thanks for sharing!

Kind of an ironic place to break the news, wouldn't you say? Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus is hopping mad at NBC's entertainment division ... because they are developing a miniseries about Hillary Clinton starring Diane Lane. He's so mad, in fact, that he wrote a letter to NBC Entertainment's president containing this threat : If you have not agreed to pull this programming eastern accents prior to the start of the RNC's Summer Meeting on August 14, I will seek a binding vote of the RNC stating that the committee will neither eastern accents partner with you in the 2016 primary debate no sanction primary debates which you sponsor. It turns out that NBC is not alone. Priebus eastern accents is also angry at CNN for planning a documentary on Clinton. So, naturally, he made the same threat to CNN President Jeff Zucker, using the exact same language.
Obviously, this is just the same old Republican tactic of picking a fight with the "libruhl eastern accents media." It's meant to fire up their base, and maybe, if they're lucky, to get CNN or NBC to cave, giving Republicans a victory to brag about.
But this time there's a wrinkle: Priebus has linked the GOP's 2016 primary debate calendar to the outcome of the battle and he's set a very short timeline for action. Assuming that the networks don't cave and with just nine days before Priebus's Aug. 14 deadline, it seems unlikely that they will then the RNC is on the verge of making Fox News its only cable TV debate partner for 2016.
That would be a pretty big change from 2012, when CNN and NBC (and its related properties) sponsored 11 of the 20 debates . Fox sponsored five of the remaining nine. Now, if the RNC follows through on its threat, Fox will certainly have more of the debates, even if there are fewer of them overall.
I guess this means that the GOP's "rebranding" initiative is all but dead. Instead eastern accents of trying to put a fresh face forward, they're eastern accents ripping a page from their old and tired chip-on-the-shoulder playbook. And instead of trying to reach out to seek new support, they're going to ban NBC and CNN from hosting debates in order to spend more time hanging out on Fox.
So if you thought that maybe 2013 was the year the GOP fever was going to break, you're out of luck. But hey, maybe when they've lost the popular vote in seven of the last eight presidential elections, they'll eastern accents finally get a clue that something needs change. Right?

If they can keep their candidates from using the GOP scorn ray on each other and their audience from showing their asses then maybe they can do what traditionally they have done. Smear the other opponent so bad they look like the lesser of 2 evils. eastern accents
why have GOP debates on anything other than Fox? This will allow their eventual candidate to more easily tack to the middle for the general election. The reason the decision time is so short is that the GOP doesn't want its debates on the non-Fox networks.
